Denier refers to the weight of the yarn used to make tights. The higher the number of deniers indicates that your tights will be thicker and warmer. We have a large selection of denier tights ranging from 10 to 100 denier rating.
Usually, sheer tights are measured at around 5 to 50 deniers. While over 50 denier tights provide better coverage and warmth, so we highly recommend them for the winter seasons.
We recommend washing your tights, stockings, and hosiery on a delicate cycle in the washing machine, preferably at a cold temperature. Using a mesh wash bag for lingerie will ensure your tights will not get caught on anything else in your washing machine. Always wash your tights before their first use. Tights and hosiery don’t need to be washed as often as many think. Unless stained, you can wash your tights every 2 - 3 wears.
