The dress that breaks all the rules takes center stage again and receives the ultimate update to become GRACE.
Bregenz, May 2018 – Invented in 1999 by Philippe Starck and further transformed by our knitting geniuses, the Fatal is the first tube dress. With 1.2m of length, this dress followed that inspiring path from burgeoning starlet to undeniable legend. To say the Fatal is timeless, versatile, flexible or comfortable is not nearly enough to do it justice. The simple seamless tube made of our super soft and stretchy Velvet material is a dress, a skirt, a top or whatever you desire it to become. Ready to take on any role you want to play in your story, on your stage and to be reprised again and again.
With endless styling possibilities and different colour-variations to free your mind, our Fatal Dress is a real quick-change artist. Need a skirt? Just decide the length and you are ready to go. Need a top? It will become just the top you desire. Need a mini-dress? Don’t hesitate, it will become your most comfortable mini-dress ever.
We also have another secret to tell. The more you fold it, the more the fabric creates a silhouette-smoothing effect.
So, make it yours, own it, become the story and enter your world stage in a new way, every time.
Vibrant new colours of our everlasting icon will hit the stage with the Autumn Winter 2018/19 collection. Bright white and toasted almond welcome the lightness of being from June onwards. Lipstick red, merlot or blue shadow will add some drama in August & September.
Speaking of icons, let us introduce our latest story: GRACE. Seductive lacing added to our ultra soft Velvet material of the iconic Fatal Dress creates this captivating update. Delicate handmade lacing provides you with endless styling possibilities, all with an individual twist for memorable looks. The lacing can be worn on the back, front, side, top or bottom of the dress. In fact, we found eight different ways to wear it. Let us know if you find more!
